Favicon

A Favicon is a small icon that appears next to the URL (address) for your blog in the browser window. A custom favicon would replace the “B” that is default with blogger or whatever icon is default on the Wordpress theme you are using. This small icon would be something that coordinates with your overall blog look. In the above example the favicon is the pink fairy that is associated with The Blog Fairy website.
