Blog Background

A Blog Background is the image you see on the sides of the main content area of your blog. In the example above it is the flowers and the blue polka dot pattern. A blog background is meant to occupy the space between the edge of your content area on your blog, and the sides of your browser window. The main content area stays the same size on everyone’s computer. Therefore, if you have a large monitor (and therefore a large browser window), you will see more of the background than someone who is viewing the same site on a smaller computer (like a laptop).
